This is a better plan for the residence area. And I actually have taken a liking to the green roof again...this month's metropolis has an article on the botanical garden in Queens with a landscaping idea similar to this project's and the building does utilize a green roof while still capturing plenty of water for the man made stream across the site...although this project does not have water all the time the design idea was to tell the water story of the site. So when it is dry the site is dry...It includes informative drawings to help visualize the storm water management which this article thoroughly explains...very exciting. It goes on to explain that when the kids come to visit the staff places water dyed red in a test tube with a layer of soil of which the water trickles through appearing on the other end "Clear"...ahh the water colors idea? There are no original ideas; just interesting variations...back to work and thank you again for the diagrams!
